We strive to add versatility to the classic humbucker pickup while maintaining its classic tone identity. The FiTbucker is another outcome of our innovative efforts to mold multiple sound characters into one pickup form. The legendary FilterTron is combined with the classic humbucker, hence the name - FiTbucker.

The FiTbucker is in the classic humbucker form factor but adopts many of the unique features used in the vintage FilterTron such as dual screw bobbins, brass backplate, 6mm-thick magnet bar for the bridge, and wire turns. Similar to the SETbucker, the outer coil is further wound to a humbucker spec and all tapping/ending points are wired out with 5-wire cable.

There are 2 major modes and 2 split modes in the FiTbucker:

  • FT (FilterTron) mode: Replicates FilterTron tone well. Simply check out the demo video for the tone color. 

  • HB (humbucker) mode: Produces a grainier sound compared to the traditional humbucker. It is like an amplified FT tone with more winding.

  • (Normal) Split mode: uses one bobbin of the HB mode. The tone is clean and smooth with a bit of glassy accent. 

  • E-split mode: extended split mode, which is a unique mode in FiTbucker. The FT mode is split in this mode. The unique pickup structure leads to a combination of FT split coil and outer coil/the other split coil in parallel. Simply speaking, this is another pseudo-humbucker mode that produces a smooth and warm sound.
